Jay Mukherjee

Jay brings over 10 years of finance and energy sector experience. Prior to joining Peregrine, he was the Finance & Strategy Manager at Gradient, a heat pump startup, where he led the development of the company’s FP&A and strategic finance function. While at Gradient, he built models and investor materials that were instrumental in the company’s Series A capital raise and worked with senior leadership in constructing a budget proposal for a transformative Department of Energy grant.

Prior to Gradient, he worked on grid digitalization and carbon capture project finance. He began his career in equity research, covering domestic exploration and production companies before moving to commercial development of over $500 million in midstream assets.

Jay holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelors in Finance from Loyola University New Orleans.
