Hieu Tran

Hieu has over 10 years of experience in private infrastructure investing and asset management. Prior to joining Peregrine, he was Investment Leader at Partners Group where he led the evaluation and execution of prospective co-investment and secondaries opportunities (core plus and value-add focus).

Hieu started his career at UBS Asset Management, where he spearheaded commercial, financial and tax due diligence for new investments as well as performance monitoring and optimization activities for portfolio companies across the renewable energy, conventional generation, telecommunications, and transportation sectors. During Hieu’s tenure at UBS, his team deployed over USD 1 billion of equity capital to acquire assets in North America.

Hieu earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Linfield University and Master of Science in Finance from the University of Utah.
