Richard Levin

Richard has over 25 years of accounting and management experience, known as a self-starter who has built solid cohesive teams facing challenges that were overcome through creative thinking and process improvements. Richard had been with NextEra for over 16 years and his career has spanned the full life cycle of renewable projects. From managing $4B of development interconnection prospecting, to managing 2 GW of renewable power and 2 GW of nuclear generation - acting as the projects’ CFO, along with financially hedging risk and ultimately trade settlement.

Previous to NextEra, Richard managed a $90B hedged portfolio of Mortgage-Backed Securities and set up the futures operation at Cantor Fitzgerald in Chicago.

Richard has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University and is a licensed CPA (Illinois).
