Phillip Hernandez
Phillip joins the Peregrine team after leading Proxima 190MW Solar & 162MWx4hours BESS with 5 PPA's across 4 EPC contracts for NextEra Energy Resources and PG&E. Before managing construction of 1,308MWh of energy storage and 550MW of solar generation, he commissioned a 1,700MW combined cycle power plant and a 1,100MW nuclear power plant. Phillip's Projects have improved electrical reliability across the country, including the service areas of PG&E, FP&L, NVE, SCE, TVA, and Dominion Electric.
Phillip earned his M.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, and P.M.P. from the Project Management Institute. His early career began as a Naval Nuclear Reactor Operator on the USS Theodore Roosevelt where he served as Reactor Operator in three Operational Reactor Safeguards Exams enabling the aircraft carrier to continue it’s mission via renewed certifications from NAVSEA(08).
