Michael began his career in renewable energy over 12 years ago at Vestas Wind Systems, where he managed up to $500 million in spend across 22 factories engaged in the global production of wind power components.

Throughout his career, Michael has refined his skills employing a spectrum of negotiation techniques, cost reduction strategies, and fostering vendor partnerships. His strategic approach has consistently delivered tangible results, contributing to improved bottom-line revenues, enhanced cash flow, and elevated product quality for various organizations.

In his most recent role as the Director of Procurement at PureSky Energy, Michael played a pivotal role in shaping the company's trajectory. His primary focus was collaborating with Development and Engineering teams to formulate a robust Energy Storage supplier strategy. Additionally, Michael spearheaded the establishment of PureSky Energy's procurement department foundation, laying the groundwork for sustained growth and operational excellence.

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is a veteran of the United States Army, having served in both the 2nd of the 75th Ranger Battalion and 2nd of the 187th Airborne Division, in the Republic of Panama.
