Jordan Gruber

Jordan joins Peregrine Energy as the Senior Manager of Energy Storage Engineering. Jordan began his professional career as a battery design engineer at Ford Motor Company, focusing on EV battery systems. Jordan was an integral part of the team that designed and developed the battery system used in the 2021 Mustang Mach-E and 2022 F-150 Lightning models.

Jordan transitioned his battery knowledge to the energy storage sector by joining FlexGen, a leading energy storage integrator. While at FlexGen, he helped build out a team of system engineers focused on the delivery of utility-scale energy storage projects all over the U.S. Prior to joining Peregrine, he was responsible for managing the technical execution of 11 portfolios of energy storage projects, ranging in size from 10MWh to 2.4GWh.

Jordan earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy Systems from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
