Chiaki Sugimoto

Chiaki is an experienced finance professional involved in the structuring and financing of renewable energy products within Peregrine’s Portfolio projects. Prior to joining Peregrine, Chiaki managed the renewable energy valuation and appraisal group at CohnReznick where she provided advisory and asset valuation services to public and private renewable energy companies, commercial and industrial asset owners, financial institutions, asset managers and private equity firms. Her portfolio of experience includes a variety of transactions for a large solar developer with over 600 MW under active development and over 100 pipeline projects, and numerous engagements on a wide range of tax equity portfolios involving wind and solar utilities for the largest tax equity investor in the United States. Chiaki’s impressive valuation experiences includes positions at both BDO and E&Y. Chiaki has a Master of Business Administration with focus on corporate finance from Kingston University in London.
