Cameron Hufford

 

Cameron has over 17 years of engineering, project management, and direct leadership experience.  He started his career as a structural design engineer for tall, complex, and unique buildings including the first-ever addition of 25 stories to an existing 30 story office building while the building remained occupied. 

As a Structural and Forensic engineer supporting the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Building Forensics Task Force, he traveled across Afghanistan to implement and conduct a structural seismic assessment program for high-priority, high-seismic risk buildings.  After joining the US Army as an Engineering Officer, Cameron led a combat engineering sapper platoon and deployed to Afghanistan to conduct combat operations and support advising and liaison efforts between the Afghan National Army and US conventional and Special Operations Forces.    Prior to joining Peregrine, Cameron spent the past 7 years leading the execution of a diverse set of utility-scale energy, energy storage, and related infrastructure projects.

He has managed the development and execution of over 500MW of Solar and over 300MWh of Energy Storage Projects across the US.

A licensed Professional Engineer and PMP, Cameron holds a Bachelor's from Bucknell University, a Master's from Stanford University, and a MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
