Amit Gohil

Amit Gohil serves as Senior Manager, Market Analytics at Peregrine.

Amit has extensive experience in commodity risk management strategies, portfolio optimization, power market dynamics and fundamentals, product structuring, pricing and financial modeling.

Before joining the Peregrine team, Amit led market development in ERCOT, ISO-NE, and NY for Stem’s integrated battery energy storage (BES) solutions. Amit also developed and launched the long-term revenue simulation service for BES systems. Prior to joining Stem, Amit directed the Portfolio Optimization practice within Siemens PTI’s Energy Business Advisory group. In this capacity, he supported load serving entities, and large enterprises in developing commodity risk management strategies to minimize wholesale market exposure, optimizing supply portfolios over the long term, and valuing generation assets and PPAs in virtually all the US ISO/RTO markets. He also helped assess and transform the front-middle-back-office operations of global energy trading and risk management firms as a management consultant in top tier consulting firms such as Accenture and EY.

Amit holds a Masters in Industrial Engineering from University of South Florida and Bachelor’s in Production Engineering from University of Poona, India.
